WHAT DO PEOPLE SAY ABOUT DURAHUB : GARY STURDY

My name is Gary Sturdy. I am a very keen fisherman and tournament angler who spends a lot of time driving to and from various locations to go fishing.

Just this last year I have put over 30,000 kms on my car and boat. My biggest concern when travelling is the BEARINGS in the trailer. Over the years this has been a problem when things have gone wrong. Having the bearings going bung is a real hassle especially out in the middle of nowhere with no help readily available. This is not only inconvenient and expensive but can be very dangerous with the trailer packing it in.

The problem with keeping the bearings in prime condition has always been a concern and I was searching for a reliable product that could handle the pressures of constant use and having the trailer going in and out of the water. This is when I was introduced to Andy who put a set of DURAHUBS on the boat trailer. I was very sceptical but went away and tested them out.

The DURAHUBS have been put through a gruelling test which included driving on dusty and muddy tracks and being subject to both fresh and saltwater conditions. They have travelled over 20,000 kms.

During the tests, I was to check for heat displacement, leakages and oil usage. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The first that was obvious was the coolness of the wheels and the hubs. Even after a long trip there was hardly any heat. I was constantly checking for leakages and oil break down and there was no sign of any faults whatsoever.

Before putting the DURAHUBS on the trailer, I was replacing bearings every 5,000 kms and that was if they lasted that long. The DURAHUBS have a four year life span..if not longer.

The cost of the DURAHUBS is a small price to pay for assurance and peace of mind. They are a very good product and come highly recommended. One other thing that was checked was the amount of fuel used before and after fit up. When towing my 4.55 Poly craft which weighs approx. 600kg, the fuel consumption was about 10% better due to little or no bearing friction on the trailer.

If you do as much travelling as me or just want a really good honest product that is robust and bullet proof, try these out - you won't be disappointed!

THIS TEST WAS DONE WITH NO PAYMENT, ENDORSEMENT OR BIAS.
