DURAHUBS ARE STILL GOING STRONG — 100,000 Kilometre Report

Hi Andy,

Hope this letter finds you and your team in good health. Well, how time flies. It has been nearly 3 years since installing the DURAHUBS to the Sea Link trailer.

Since we last spoke, I have travelled to Borroloola in the Northern Territory and towed the boat from one end of the country to the other, fishing tournaments and just getting out there to enjoy our great country. The trip to Loola was some 7,500 kms over some pretty ordinary roads. The boat was fully loaded with everything required to keep three eager fishermen comfortable for six weeks!!! And on the way home, we fished at several dams, including Moondarra and Lake Julius out of Mt. Isa.

Before we left, I checked the bearings and the oil; and all seemed in good condition. So, we headed off. On the way, I checked for heat in the bearings but there was none!!! Every time we stopped for fuel, I checked for heat but the DURAHUBS just kept on keeping on!!! Considering the distance covered and the weight on the trailer, I was absolutely ecstatic to get all the way back to Brisbane with only changing one tyre!! And having no major problems with bearing failure which in itself is a miracle, especially considering all the dramas I was having with bearings before fitting your product.

Since returning, I have been down to Sydney twice ..and travelled to Townsville, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Cania Dam, Awoonga Dam, Monduran Dam, Hervey Bay and countless trips locally in the Brisbane District. A total of some 100,000 kms. The trailer is dunked in saltwater, freshwater, had ,dust, mud and whatever else caked on it …and still everything is just ticking along nicely.

I will be bringing the boat trailer for you to inspect before I head to Weipa in August, just as a precaution but I am not worried. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, WE WON'T TOUCH IT!!! If there was a problem, something would have happened by now… So, there you go!!! I have hammered the Polycraft and the Merc 60 4 Stroke (it has over 800 hours on the motor) …and it stood up to everything I threw at it. And the trailer has been flogged as well. The tyres have been replaced twice!!! If that isn’t enough endorsement, that this is an excellent product, then nothing is…

Again, I interate that I receive no money, sponsorship or endorsement by promoting your product. All you did was fit them …and the rest is history!!! Congratulations, YOU DESERVE A MEDAL!!! Anyone who hasn’t got this product on their trailer might as well go and throw money out the window… IT WILL SAVE YOU THOUSANDS AND MAYBE YOUR LIFE!!! I know I have had some serious bearing failures and scares over the years!!! I lost a wheel once and found it some 1.5 kms down the road. It actually passed us!!! Scary stuff!!!

There is nothing worse than bearing failure. You have all seen broken trailers on the side of the highway… Your trailer carries your hard earned investment and pride and joy… So, get these DURAHUBS on your trailer. You won't be disappointed. Talk soon. Tight lines and happy travelling!
